Omg, I love this picture SOO much! I worked on it for about 3 hours, from 12-2:30 A.M.

I actually really worked on the picture and the shading and crap on this drawing, surprisingly. XD

Well, the story behind this was Mint was crying in an RP and SmileCat has a crush on her. So, he goes to comfort her and //which I find completely adorable// says: "Shh, don't cry. I'll wipe away your tears..."

Then it lead to this picture. ouo

Also, critiques please? You can critique on anything you like. The shading, the background, or the drawing itself. :3

I really like your line art! I can never get the corners right...But I don't really get your picture...You might want to use a software which lets you manipulate layers like smooth draw or gimp or paint.net...to make the character look more innocent, you might want to color the highlights of the eyes over the line art to make it look more realistic...you might want to vary the width of the lines to make it look less flat...Tears aren't actually dark blue, they are kind of transparent and clear, to show that they are tears use a thin round brush and draw the out line of the tears, then use a soft airbrush (low opacity) around the areas of highlight. I hope this helps :P
